Our History
Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, has been rooted in faith, community, and a steadfast commitment to sharing the love of Jesus for 135 years.
Beginning in the late 1800s when a small group of believers set out to build a Christ-centered congregation founded on God’s Word. Soon after, the first school opened—reflecting the church’s dedication to raising children in faith and learning.
Through the decades, Bethlehem has grown in both size and spirit, expanding its facilities while remaining focused on academic excellence and strong Christian values. Even in times of hardship, including fires that tested their resolve, the people of Bethlehem rebuilt with faith and unity.
Today, Bethlehem thrives as a place where generations worship, learn, and serve together—a living testimony of God’s faithfulness through every season.
Loved by Jesus. Serving others. Sharing His love with the world.
