Flexible, Faith-Filled Child Care

At Bethlehem Lutheran School, we offer Christ-centered extended care for both early learners and school-age students—before, during, and after school.

Available for students in all grades. We offer extended child care for all grade levels during the school year, available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from the first to the last full day of school at an affordable rate: $5.25 per hour

Perfect for busy families who need reliable, nurturing care in a faith-based environment.

Crafts & Projects
From painting to themed crafts, kids express themselves and develop confidence through art.

Snack & Lunch Time
Healthy snacks and meals provide nourishment and a chance to practice social skills and independence.

Group Activities
Story time, music, games, and circle time help children build friendships and communication skills.

Outdoor & Gym Play
Daily active play promotes physical health and gives children time to run, climb, and explore.

nutrition

We want to make sure your child stays nourished and energized throughout the day!

Please note that breakfast is not served at school. Be sure your child starts the day with a good meal at home. Our Extended Care program provides a mid-afternoon and after-school snack, including a drink and a variety of cookies, crackers, or other healthy options to keep kids going strong. Lunchtime is at 11:30 a.m.

Hot lunch and milk are available through the Bethlehem Lutheran Lunch Program. You’ll just need to purchase a lunch or milk ticket in advance. Families may also apply for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program if they qualify—we’re happy to assist you with that process.

rest

At our preschool program, we prioritize the well-being of every child. That’s why children ages 3 and 4 enjoy a daily rest period after lunch to help recharge for the rest of their day.

Each child is provided with a comfortable preschool rest cot, and families are encouraged to send a personal blanket if their child would like one for added comfort and security.

Creating a calm and nurturing environment during rest time supports healthy routines and contributes to positive early childhood development.

cost

Extended Care fees are based on an hourly rate of $5.25 per hour, per child.
